We’ve joined forces with RACQ motoring club to tackle the issue of distracted driving in Queensland. Distracted driving, such as using your phone while you drive, is just as dangerous as drink driving.
Using your phone while driving makes you four times more likely to crash, yet 70% of Queenslanders admit to doing it. The good news is that there’s a solution to help you kick the habit.
Set up Do not Disturb on your phone to switch off calls, messages and social media notifications while you drive. You can still have maps and music at your fingertips; simply cue them up before you depart.
