The Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) Whiplash injury recovery booklet is an evidence-based self-help guide to help people manage neck pain after a motor vehicle accident. Developed by the University of Queensland, it includes simple exercises, advice on staying active, and practical recovery tips.
Road to Recovery brochure
The Road to Recovery brochure is for people injured in a motor vehicle accident who have made a CTP insurance claim in Queensland. It explains why rehabilitation is important, how to access funding for treatment, and what you and the CTP insurer need to do. The brochure was developed with input from health experts, lawyers, and insurers to provide clear, practical advice.
Whiplash treatment options – RECOVER Injury Research Centre
The RECOVER Injury Research Centre at the University of Queensland developed a whiplash information resource to provide evidence-based guidance for the public and healthcare professionals. This initiative aims to improve rehabilitation outcomes for individuals with whiplash by offering high-quality information.
Queensland CTP portal
Submit and manage CTP insurance claims online.
- Lodge a claim: create and submit a CTP insurance claim online for injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Your claim will be securely sent directly to the relevant CTP insurer.
- Request rehabilitation or reimbursement: once your claim is lodged, you can request funding for rehabilitation or reimbursement for treatment costs from the CTP insurer.
- Submit treatment plans: treatment providers can complete and submit treatment plans online, detailing proposed strategies to support the injured person’s recovery.
