Downloading and viewing documents

ReachDeck accessibility and translation toolbar
The ReachDeck tools help make our online content more accessible for people with dyslexia, low literacy, English as a second language, and those with mild visual impairments. It can read out loud, translate webpages into 99 languages and read the content aloud in 40 languages.
Click the orange icon shown below (white ‘stick man’ icon on orange background) in the bottom left corner of the page to see the toolbar.
Read aloud – select the finger-pointing icon in the bottom left of the toolbar and then select the text you would like to be read out loud. If you need to adjust the voice speed, select the settings icon in the middle of the toolbar. You can also change the language you would like to hear spoken here too.
Translation – select the settings icon (cog) in the middle of the toolbar. A window with a drop-down menu will pop up where you can select the language you would like the webpage translated into. The text will also be read out loud in this language, and you can adjust the voice speed here too.
Choose the function you need (shown below) from the toolbar:
Starts reading the page out loud (switch between hover and click in the settings menu)
Starts reading selected text or reads from the top of the page
Stops reading and clears highlights on the page
Provides written and spoken translations in multiple languages
Displays pictures related to text selected on the page
Converts selected text into an MP3
Blocks distractions on screen with a tinted mask
Enlarge text as it is read out loud
Removes clutter from the screen, displaying only the main text
Shows a simple help page that explains what the ReachDeck toolbar does
Allows you to change settings to suit your needs or preferences
