Report CTP fraud

Thank you for reporting suspected CTP insurance fraud. We take all reports of suspected fraud seriously. You may make a report without giving your name (anonymous report). If we need more information, an anonymous report may limit what we can do. It is our policy not to release your information unless we are authorised or required by law.

The Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) is collecting your personal information and will use it for the purpose of assessing and investigating your allegations of CTP fraud. To do this, we may need to share your details within MAIC. We may also need to disclose your information to the CTP insurer/s managing the claim who may wish to directly contact you about the matter.

We will handle your information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) and not otherwise disclose your information, unless required by law. Our privacy policy has further details about how you can access or amend the personal information we hold about you, and how you can make a privacy complaint if you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with the IP Act. You can also contact our Privacy Team if you have any questions.
