We’
ve made changes to the Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) website to improve your experience.

These changes aim to help Queenslanders better understand the Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance scheme and navigate its claims process. Our goal is to make the website simpler and easier to use for vehicle owners and people injured in motor vehicle accidents in Queensland.

What’s changed?

The updated site has a refreshed design, simpler content and clearer navigation to make it easier to find what you need.

Links and bookmarks

Most existing links will continue to work on the new website. The address of many pages including news articles, media files and the home page has not changed. We’ve also added link redirects to minimise disruptions, so bookmarked webpage addresses should continue to work. If you come across a link that isn’t working, please let us know using the details below.

Help and feedback

We are committed to continuously improving the website to enhance usability and access to information. Your input is invaluable in helping us create a more accessible and user-friendly experience.

If you have feedback, or if you need assistance, please contact us at maic@maic.qld.gov.au.
