Drive Safe
Drive Deadly
MAIC is committed to promoting greater road safety for all Queenslanders and to ensuring Queensland’s CTP insurance scheme is respectful, safe and supportive for First Peoples injured in vehicle crashes through no fault of their own.
Through considered and extensive consultation with Elders, community members living with disability and organisations across Queensland, MAIC and disability Elder Uncle Paul Calcott have developed a suite of CTP insurance resources that respectfully reflects the diversity within local communities.
How CTP insurance can help you get strong again
1
Even when you make all the right choices there's a chance you could still be involved in an accident
2
Your car's registration gives you your compulsory third party insurance (CTP insurance)
3
CTP insurance will help your passengers or anyone else hurt to get the help they need
4
If the accident wasn’t your fault, CTP insurance will help you get strong again
If you have been in an accident recently and you are not sure what to do you can call the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (ATSILS) free call 1800 012 255 and have a yarn with someone that will help you out
