When to acknowledge MAIC
The MAIC logo and a statement should be used as space permits in materials relevant to the Funded Project. This includes, but is not limited to:
- websites
- social media (as applicable)
- research publications
- presentation slides and posters
- event invitations
- newsletters
- speeches
- brochures.
Where MAIC is the primary funding body, this should be acknowledged by including ‘primary funding partner’ with the MAIC logo.
Acknowledgement statement
For rehabilitation-related activities, the following statement should be used:
The Motor Accident Insurance Commission provided funding to (insert organisation name) to support (insert Project/Research Centre title) to conduct research activities that aim to improve the treatment and rehabilitation of people injured in motor vehicle crashes.
For road safety-related activities, the following statement should be used:
The Motor Accident Insurance Commission provided funding to (insert organisation name) to support (insert Project/Research Centre title) to conduct research activities that aim to reduce the incidence of motor vehicle crashes.
