The Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) is collecting your personal information and will use it for the purpose of assessing and investigating your report of a car crash scammer. To do this, we may need to share your details within MAIC. We may also need to disclose your information to the CTP insurer/s managing the claim and other government agencies and regulators as required. Your personal information will not be disclosed to other third parties without consent, unless the disclosure is authorised or required by law. We will handle your information in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009. Our privacy policy has further details about how you can access or amend the personal information we hold about you, and how you can make a privacy complaint if you believe we have not handled your personal information in accordance with the IP Act.
