Running from 5 – 11 September 2016, Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week is a national campaign that aims to create a more inclusive and accessible community for everyone.

The official Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week website raises awareness about what it means to have a spinal cord injury and encourages all Australian to take the time to consider the way they can have a positive impact on the lives of people with spinal cord injury.

Visit the website to find practical tips and advice about how you can make your community more inclusive, along with inspiring stories from campaign ambassadors and contacts for support organisations in your state.

Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Week is an initiative of the Australian Spinal Injury Alliance, which represents eight of the country’s largest spinal cord injury organisations, and is a national voice for all Australians who have sustained a spinal cord injury.
