The Motor Accident Insurance Commission in partnership with Queensland Trucking Association Ltd, and support from members fleet Lindsay Australia, launched a new safety campaign on Monday 12 December to remind drivers that trucks need extra stopping distance to safely brake on our roads.
The message is simple—count a three barramundi break when driving behind a truck and remember: be a mate, don’t tailgate.
Keep an eye out for the eye-catching message while travelling on our Queensland roads this holiday season.
