Right to information

The Right to Information is the Queensland Government’s approach to giving the community greater access to information.

The Right to Information aims to:

  • make more information available
  • provide equal access to information across all sectors of the community
  • provide appropriate protection for individuals’ privacy.

As a statutory body attached to Queensland Treasury, the Motor Accident Insurance Commission’s Right to Information process is managed by the Legal and Administrative Review Office of Queensland Treasury. Please visit the Queensland Treasury website for more details about Right to Information.
